When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged the day your package is shipped, approximately nine days before your period starts.

What is included in my monthly package?

Each month, we will send you a special treat package that includes a 5x7 limited edition print, a gourmet treat, 2 tea bags, and 3 packets of medicine (cramp tabs or ibuprofen). You can choose to just receive the treat package or you can add on different lady products from our store. You can set it up so you receive the same product each month, or you can change it up each month. It's up to you!

Do you send individual pads and tampons in your packages?

No. Cleanliness is very important to us, and we believe the fewer people touching your tampons and pads before you do, the better. The products we sell are packaged by their original manufacturer under strict hygienic guidelines, ready for only you to unbox.

How do I know that my package will arrive on time?

When setting up your account, be sure to tell us when you expect your next cycle to start and how long your cycle usually lasts. We use this information to determine when to send you your package. We always try to have your package arrive within a week before your period. That being said, sometimes Aunt Flo arrives early or late, so if this happens, please update your settings so we can match our cycle to yours. Log into your account and go to the "Cycle" tab. All the information you need is right on that page!

I'm leaving for vacation. Can I postpone delivery or switch delivery addresses?

Of course! When you sign into The Period Store, you'll have the option to postpone delivery, change your address, or adjust your delivery cycle.

You don't seem to carry a product I love. Is there any way you can offer it?

Yes! We are constantly expanding our inventory so that everyone's needs are met. If there is a product that you would like but that we currently do not offer, please email us with the name and detail of the product. We'll do our best to quickly make it available online.

What if I only need a product every few of months and I don't want it delivered monthly?

Glad you asked! We have the option of signing up for a "Treats" package, which means that you will still receive art and a gourmet treat every month and you can sign into your account at any time to add "one time" products to your packages. Select the specific product you are interested in, click "Add to Package" (or "Update Quantity" if you already have it in your package) and there will be a selection for "in next package only".

How do I remove or change an item from my package?

You can always update what products you receive in your package! Log into your account and go to the "Package" tab. You will see "edit" next to items already in the package, as well as "Choose more products" at the bottom of the page. To remove an item, select "edit" and then set the quantity to zero.

Can I buy a product from your website without signing up for a package?

At this time, we only sell our products through monthly packages.

Why are some products more expensive?

Some products wholesale at a higher price point. Many of these products are reusable, so although there is a higher upfront cost, you will usually save more money in the long run.

My box is being delivered to my office and I don't want everyone to see that I'm starting my period soon. How can you help me?

Our boxes are simple, brown, craft boxes with no external branding. Lots of surprises on the inside, no surprises on the outside!

Is shipping included?

Yes! Domestic shipping is included in the package price. Shipping is extra for our Canadian friends and is indicated as such on the confirmation and billing pages.

I use a menstrual cup or other product that is reusable and doesn't need to be sent monthly. What do I do?

Easy! Just sign up for the "Treats" package and add the reusable product to your box by selecting "in next package only" when you designate the quantity. We will send you the reusable product for that month only, and the next time you need one, just sign into your account at least nine days before your period starts and add it again. You will receive treats and art every month, but you'll choose how often to receive the reusable product.

There was an error in my order. What do I do?

We are so sorry! Please contact us at info@theperiodstore.com and we will do all that we can to fix it. We obviously want your (lady) business! =)

Why are some products an additional cost?

We work closely with manufacturers to give you the best possible price. Unfortunately, some products just cost more to manufacture than others, which means a higher wholesale price for us. We encourage you to learn more about these products from both The Period Store and individual manufacturers so that you can better understand the reason for differences in cost.

How do I cancel?

We're sorry to see you go! To cancel, just sign into your account, select the "billing" tab and at the top of the page you will see a link to "Stop my subscription".

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship to the United States and Canada. If we expand we'll let you know on our social media outlets. We really appreciate your continued interest!
